Dr Leoni Papagorgopoulou is very keen to discuss with you the management of dental trauma and root resportion in general dental practice. 

She will cover

*The aetiology of root resorption,

*Diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of root resorption

*Outline the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of different types of dental injuries . 

*Demonstrate with case examples to help show you the various treatment modalities.

You will have the opportunity to share cases of root resorption and dental trauma that you would like to discuss with Leoni and other members of the DIC team .

A buffet lunch will be provided followed by a sceinic city cycle, so don't forget your bicycles.

The city itself is cross-sectioned by Route Four of the Cycle Network, with the surrounding countryside containing many scenic cycle routes; The Two Tunnels, which forms the longest cycling tunnel in the UK; the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path; and the Kennet and Avon Canal Path. 



Leoni Papageorgopoulou DDS MClinDent (Endodontology) GDC No: 196589

Leoni graduated from the Dental School of Athens, Greece in 2008. Since that time, Leoni has gained valuable experience in advanced dentistry, collaborating in 5 different dental practices in Greece. In 2010 she enrolled the MClinDent in Endodontology Masters programme at UCL, Eastman Dental Institute, which she completed in 2013. As part of her postgraduate training she conducted a research project in microbiology and disinfection of the root canal system, in relation to its complex anatomy. She is currently completing her Specialist Training for the Membership in Endodontics (MEndo). Leoni has always been dedicated in making root canal treatment a pleasant experience, via her gentle manner and her knowledge of safe strategies to save teeth.
